to the London drains
along the street crevice
and through the Nile river
a phase alteration
floating into
the fountain from heaven above
the weight bearing upon
no longer
released drop by drop
from the world
to the palm of your hand
along the tips of your fingers
through the strands of your hair
washing away yesterday's baggage
gorgeous rain
